Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Tablemate is a free, independently-run household dinner-planning app. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
The service
Tablemate is provided "as is," free of charge, with no guarantee of uptime, availability, or that it will always exist in its current form. It's run by one person as a side project, not a company.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password secure. You're responsible for what gets entered into your household's menu — don't use it to store or share illegal content.
Households
Anyone with your household's invite code can join it and see/edit the same shared menu. Only share that code with people you want to have that access.
No warranty
We make no promises that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at any particular time. Don't rely on it for anything beyond "what's for dinner."
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer isn't liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of (or inability to use) Tablemate.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Ending your account
You can stop using Tablemate at any time. To have your account and data removed, see the Privacy Policy for how to request deletion.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
